Robert Lupacchino
Managing Partner

Bob Lupacchino's 25 years of business experience blends both organizational consulting and executive management. This combination allows Bob to bring a real-life, informed perspective to his consulting practice and the business challenges faced by his clients. As Managing Partner of Stratacon, Bob oversees a group of highly specialized and seasoned partners who provide a broad-based portfolio of consulting and development services within the healthcare, retail, entertainment and financial services industries.

Bob is an accomplished strategist and finance executive and has extensive consulting and leadership credentials in strategy development, financial management, mergers and acquisitions and new venture formation. He has served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and executive-level consultant to numerous Fortune 500 clients. He has influenced new revenue streams, expanded market share and asset bases, enhanced structural cost positions and optimized corporate investments for clients including Charles Schwab and American Express. As Vice President for Marketing and Strategic Planning for a $750 million university-based health system, Bob influenced its market position as the dominant healthcare enterprise in its region. As Vice President Strategic Quality Management of the largest hospital-based home healthcare company in the U.S., he helped achieve growth from $750,000 in annual revenues to $250 million over a three-year period. Most recently he was engaged by a publicly-traded digital media company as interim CFO to oversee a reverse-take-over transaction with five companies in the People's Republic of China concurrent with a $30 million private placement offering in the North American capital markets.

Bob holds an MBA in Finance from Emory University and a BS degree in Political Science and Psychology from Boston College. Bob has participated in numerous community organizations including Big Brother, Parent and Child, the Rotary, and Children's Hospital. He is the father of twin daughters and resides in historic Savannah, Georgia.

Barry Sheehy
Senior Partner

Barry has consulted on quality, value management and process reengineering in more than a dozen countries around the world. Clients include multinational corporations from Europe, Japan, North America, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim.

His experience in quality and value management implementation comes from first-hand involvement in award-winning initiatives in both the public and private sectors. His clients include Fortune 1000 companies in a range of industries including transportation, financial services, retail, manufacturing and healthcare.

Barry is an accomplished speaker and author and was a contributing author to the best seller, Firing On All Cylinders (Irwin, 1992). His latest book is titled Winning The Race For Value, (AMACOM, 1996). His work can also be found in, In Search of Quality (Executive Excellence, 1995) and Game Plans for Success (Little Brown, 1995).

Barry lectures all over the world on the subjects of business transformation, value analysis, quality and value management, and business trends. His speaking tours have taken him to Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. His articles and papers have appeared in numerous magazines and publications including The National Productivity Review, Asian Productivity Digest, Executive Excellence, Across The Board, Healthcare Innovations, Industrial Management, The Singapore Business Times, and Hong Kong Industrialist. In addition, Barry is published in the original Who’s Who in America.

Barry is a graduate of Loyola and McGill Universities, as well as The Canadian Forces School of Electronics Engineering. He holds the Canadian Armed Forces Decoration. He lives with his wife and two children in Savannah, Georgia.

Rick Crooker
Senior Partner

Rick is a gifted senior executive with over 30 years experience in strategic planning, marketing, business plan development, sales management, commission plan design, and leadership development. Rick's focus and strength has been in the areas of organizational design and leadership.

Rick has been recognized for his talents and his professional career has included a variety of senior executive positions with both The Royal Bank of Canada and American Express, Canada and the U.S. At The Royal Bank he was instrumental in changing the way Canadians bank as he developed, launched and managed the bank's entry into ATMs.

As a Senior Executive for American Express, Rick was responsible for the restructuring, business growth and functional management of their North American Merchant Relationship division. The division encompassed over 2.5 million merchant relationships, US$230 billion in billed business and a staff of over 500. He grew the business by an average of 12% a year over 5 years. He was also a Director of and played and instrumental role in the creation of the Amex Bank of Canada.

Since starting his career as a consultant in 2003, Rick has advised both start-up and small to mid size businesses in the areas of Customer Relationship Management, Sales Plan Development and Organizational Design. Additionally, he has also provided advice and strategic direction to companies in the Insurance, Product Display and US Health Care sectors in the U.S. and Canada.

Rick attended The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School where he majored in Economics.

Ron Sepielli
Senior Partner

Ron Sepielli has over 20 years experience in the fields of organizational performance improvement, leadership development, team development, and sharpening business strategies. Ron's main expertise is engaging senior leaders in adopting, and adapting to their unique needs. Ron's efforts have assisted senior leadership teams in formulating and executing the strategic intent of the business, particularly business strategies that involve large-scale, complex change initiatives.

Ron has mastered the “Art/Science” of enabling organizational systems to sharpen their strategic goals, and then ensure that strategies are successfully executed. By engaging the intellectual, creative and emotional energies of key stakeholders, collective efforts are mobilized to focus and accelerate successful change. Implementations plans are launched that define the cultural dimensions, and human changes in attitude, knowledge, & behavior, required to advance toward a compelling and successful future.

Ron has coached numerous leadership teams, defining and developing the competency profiles required to lead in times of rapid and complex change, and introducing integrated organizational learning strategies to bring a fresh leadership approach to life. His focus has been on results: increasing the capacity of every leader to consistently demonstrate the leadership behaviors required to advance organizational strategies, to optimize organizational performance and to enhance organizational health.

Ron has a Master’s of Science degree in Organizational Development and Adult Learning from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and Italian Language from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has also completed an intensive, 2-year post-graduate program in Organization and Systems Development, and a 1-year post-graduate program in Advanced Consulting Skills, and Advanced Team Development/Facilitation at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. He has trained extensively with Dr. W. Edwards Deming, and Meg Wheatley, in the fields of Human & Organizational Systems Change.

Warren Nickell
Associate Partner

Warren’s focus is on process improvement and performance measurement.

Warren has 32 years with IBM including 15 years in sales and service line management. Staff assignments included responsibilities for: personnel research; management education and development; executive succession planning; marketing and technical education; customer technical and customer executive education; strategic planning; organizational development; and total quality management. Gained national recognition for his leadership in developing and implementing IBM’s “Quality focus on Business Processes” for the Southwest Marketing Division of IBM.

Since leaving IBM Warren has 15 years of consulting experience working with senior executives of both public and private companies/organizations in improving performance and developing competitive advantages; specializing in the areas of: Baldrige assessments; measurements for change; process management; knowledge management; problem solving; organizational diagnostics; project management; and performance management.

His job experience includes start-up and General Manager for a new division of the Management Analysis Company providing TQM consulting to all industries; Vice President of Product and Service Quality -- Gerber Alley Enterprises; and 6 years with the Southern Company, as a Senior Internal Consultant with responsibilities for executive/management education and change management consulting; Principal of Collaborations in Healthcare LLC, healthcare consultants, dedicated to serving the needs of healthcare providers, payors and suppliers.

Warren is an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship graduate of Stanford University.

Byron Steele
Associate Partner

Byron has consulted in the implementation of full-scale training/development/learning systems that support organizational operational strategies. For the past 20 years, Byron’s dedication has been in the field of leadership development and organization improvement (quality, process improvement, and teams). Byron’s recent focus has been implementing and integrating a diagnostic tool to help organizations improve Human Capital Performance. In addition, Byron is a skilled facilitator, certified in training models of leadership, communication and most recently, Kepner-Fourie Problem Solving/Decision Making process.

Byron’s clients include both US based organizations, representing many Fortune 1, 000, and international organizations from the following industries: Accounting and Professional Service Firms; Aerospace and Defense; Automotive; Banking and Insurance; Hospitality and Healthcare; Petroleum and Chemical; Pharmaceutical; Publishing/Communications; Textiles and High End Retailing.

Performance Highlights:


Corporate objective: re-launch a failed quality initiative. Action: implemented a cultural change using a top/down leadership training strategy that embraced the concept of continuous improvement and other key quality values. Results: President Award was received for the accomplishments made during the three-year process.

Byron completed in Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Business Psychology from Oklahoma State University and worked towards his MBA from Memphis State University. Byron has served on charitable boards and the administrative board of his church.

Meredith Jackson
Project Manager and Instructional Designer

Over the last five years, Meredith has been involved in managing the various phases and disciplines of projects for many retail industry leaders as defined by the Project Management Institute and industry standards/best practices. Her experience has been focused primarily in fast-paced retail training environments committed to developing and implementing 20+ different projects/training programs each year. This experience has provided Meredith with the skills to effectively manage communication and other challenging aspects of projects occurring simultaneously within organizations of limited internal resources.

As a Project Manager, Meredith has developed and implemented customized project management tools and techniques used to plan, document, control, track and report progress on the multiple disciplines of projects (scope, time, cost, quality, communication, risk, procurement and integration) throughout their lifecycle. Her strength lies in assessing individual client needs and executing customized project management solutions that improve communication among stakeholders, assure the delivery of projects on time and within budget, streamline internal/external processes, and maximize Return on Investment.

Based on her knowledge and experience, Meredith has designed a customizable website capable of providing clients instant access to up-to-date project information and reports on an individual and integrated project basis.

As an Instructional Designer, Meredith has participated in large projects requiring multiple writers and quick turnaround time. This experience has given her the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with large project teams to produce successful and quality training programs.

Meredith has designed engaging, progressive learning materials related to various aspects of both hard and soft skills business training. Some of the modules she has written include material related to customer service, performance assessment, management skills, loss prevention, risk management, marketing/merchandising, communication, labor management and performance management. In addition, she has developed coach’s guides and facilitator’s guides for both self-study and blended solution training programs. Meredith also has experience in designing CBT scripts and graphics.

Skilled in the editorial process, Meredith possesses a keen eye for details that affect the integrity and impact of paper-based training materials. She has attended numerous instructional design courses and is currently working towards Professional Trainer Certification with Langevin Learning Services. She is proficient in Microsoft Project and currently working on obtaining Project Manager Professional certification with the Project Management Institute. Meredith has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
